"Training with Abbie has transformed my archery skills. Her clear guidance, patience, and ability to tailor lessons to my needs helped me gain confidence and consistency. I’ve made incredible progress and couldn’t ask for a better coach!"

- L.

“I’ve been competing in archery for two years, and I reached a point where I needed support with the mental side of the sport as well as some fine-tuning of my technique. Abbie was ready and eager to help, from the offset she genuinely cares about seeing me progress and has become someone who has made It clear she is always there to help and support me.

She is a lovely person, and she also has a huge depth of technical/mental knowledge of archery

Every session is fun, friendly and productive

She is patient and understanding, she never brushes off even the smallest concern, whether it’s about form, focus, confidence, or any other issues. She has been a huge encouragement even when I wasn’t having the best of days.

Abbie creates an atmosphere where learning feels exciting rather than intimidating.

Thanks to her, my mental attitude has improved massively, and my form and follow-through are improving a lot. I’ve seen an increase in my scores/averages, and recently I even won my first head-to-head match, which secured me the County title.

Beyond the results, though, Abbie is kind, enthusiastic, and has a genuine belief in everyone she works with. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

— E.

"Kingfisher Archery came in to run sessions of archery for our Year 4 class as part of our Elizabethan Experience Day. The children had an excellent time and it was a real highlight of the day. The instructor was knowledgeable, helpful and very patient! The communication before the event was very efficient and made the day run smoothly. We will definitely look to book them in for next year's event!"

Meet Abbie Fisher – Founder of Kingfisher Activities

abbie

Hi, I’m Abbie Fisher, founder of Kingfisher Activities. I fell in love with archery at age 10 after being dragged to a session by my brother, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

From competing across the UK with my family to representing Great Britain internationally—including winning a silver medal at the Junior European Championships—archery has been a huge part of my life.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience coaching in the UK and U.S., training junior staff, and managing equipment at a Norfolk activity centre, I started Kingfisher Activities to share the joy, focus, and confidence that archery brings.

Whether you’re trying it for the first time, honing your skills, or just looking for a fun challenge, I’ll guide you every step of the way. My mission is simple: to inspire more people to pick up a bow and experience the empowerment and excitement of this amazing sport.

When I’m not teaching or competing, you’ll find me exploring the Norfolk countryside, climbing mountains in the Lake District with my two Labradors, or spending time with friends and family. There aren’t many moments where I sit still!
